Should you have lots of friends or just a few?
I think I've finally decided that just a few friends is better than lots of friends. For one thing, it's easier to know your friends with a short friendlist. It's also easier to manage if you use the blocking/unblocking strategies. And really, not very many items come through even with a full friendlist. What do you think?
Blocking friends is a strategy to make it more likely that a small group of your friends (ie 2-5) will get a good chance to win items that randomly pop out when your modules are clicked. For instance, diamonds are sometimes sent out of the Dino Excav Module. If you've blocked all but 3 of your friends, only those 3 friends have a chance to receive a diamond.
Also, I've heard reports that it may be beneficial to block Networkers to increase your chances. I'm not sure on this, but it doesn't hurt to try! Let me know if you have experience with it.
Now don't be upset if someone removes you from their friendlist. There are lots of other players out there, come to the Active Users Club to exchange clicks with other players. It's easier to make trades there! I'm going to shorten my friendlist to only include players from the Active Users Club to give us better chances at winning items.
Anyhow, let me know what you prefer - long friendlist or short friendlist.

When I saw how big your friendlist was I wasn't going to ask you, but I must have clicked the button out of instinct. And then I thought it was kind of strange that you accepted me and then blocked me right after. I'm assuming it lets you unblock people afterwards?
Hi alien236, the blocking is just temporary until I get enough sparks, pipes and gypsum. Those items are very hard to get!! So once I get 50 of each I'll unblock again! My friendlist got too huge, so I've tried to prune it down a bit!
I don't really have a preference for friendlist length yet because I have just started out. I am leaning towards smaller (except for Networkers) because it feels more comfortable, but I may change my mind in the future. The reasons you have pointed out seem good but right now all I'm worried about is getting someone to use my Bee Battle module.

I've gone and tried to set up a trade, but I don't know if it will be accepted yet. This looks like a really neat system for improving the MLN trading thing.

Hi bonesoup868, just wanted you to know that I prefer a short freindlist. That's why I blocked you. It seems that no one has been sending me my gems! I'll unblock you when I get enough construction materials.
Blocking most of your friends may results in loosing a lot of friends .
When someone blockes me I will delete you without notice the minut you unblock me .
So be carefull who to block ,I know for a fact most High rankers 7 and up will do also.

Oops I forgot to say that I don't think you can delete a freind who has blocked you. I've been blocked before, and I can't be able to see them in my 'Blocked' list.

Most high rank players I know understand how hard it is to collect construction materials. And if you have a large friendlist, probably many of them are away on vacation or not playing when you are. So I still think it's easier to get to rank 6 by blocking some of your friends. PS I won't delete you if you block me!
I wanted to have few, but I'm just way too nice! Check my friendlist. Majority are Rank 3 and lower.
i prefer a long friendlist at most times,but i once tried a short friendlist to get gems and it worked!i only got a few though..all those people that i have blocked
i hope will understand because it very hard to get gems!!so i prefer both short and long at times.

I prefer having a small friendlist. It allows me to keep better friends as well as helping other users to see who I have as my friend.
